Our Commitment

We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, including users who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, and magnification software. Accessibility is central to our professional mission — it is equally central to how we design and maintain this site.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.

Measures We Have Taken

• Page language is declared on every page (lang="en"), enabling screen readers to select the correct voice and pronunciation engine — WCAG 3.1.1
• All informational images carry descriptive alternative text conveying both content and function — WCAG 1.1.1
• Decorative images use empty alternative text (alt="") so screen readers skip them — WCAG 1.1.1
• Linked images include alternative text describing both the image content and the link destination — WCAG 1.1.1 and 2.4.4
• Color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) across all pages — WCAG 1.4.3
• Heading structure follows a logical hierarchy on every page — WCAG 1.3.1
• ARIA landmarks (navigation, main, footer) are implemented throughout — WCAG 1.3.1
• Form inputs are programmatically associated with their labels — WCAG 1.3.1 and 3.3.2
• Semantic HTML5 elements are used throughout to support screen reader interpretation

Known Limitations

This site was tested using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool and manual review on the index page and primary content pages. Test results as of August 2026:

• 0 errors — No WCAG violations detected
• 0 contrast errors — All text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio
• 8 features confirmed — Language declaration, alternative text on all images, empty alt on decorative images, linked image alternative text, ARIA labels, form labels, and structural landmarks
• 21 structural elements — Logical heading hierarchy (h1 through h3), navigation, lists, landmarks, and content regions properly structured
• 17 ARIA implementations — Roles, labels, and attributes correctly applied throughout
• 2 alerts reviewed — WAVE identified two instances where multiple calls-to-action link to the same destination URL. These are intentional design decisions — each link carries distinct text and context, satisfying WCAG 2.4.4 (Link Purpose in Context, Level AA). No change was required.

Known areas under continued review:

• PDF documents generated by the accessible parking and assembly calculators have not been fully evaluated for screen reader compatibility — we are reviewing accessible PDF generation options
• Additional pages beyond the index page have not yet been formally audited — we are expanding testing to all pages

Technical Specifications

This website relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:

Accessibility testing has been performed using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool (WebAIM) and manual review in Microsoft Edge. Testing is ongoing as content is added and updated.
