Determines the required number of accessible dwelling units under Texas Accessibility Standards §233. Separate Fair Housing Act and IBC Chapter 11 requirements also apply and must be evaluated independently.

§233.3 applies to facilities not subject to HUD Section 504 regulations. Facilities subject to HUD 504 shall comply with HUD regulations in lieu of these standards (§233.2). The Fair Housing Act and IBC Chapter 11 impose separate, independent requirements that may exceed these minimums — verify all applicable frameworks.
